Have you been to the dark side of the moon?

We should take a trip there soon.

It's not as far away as it seems;

Especially when we're living in our dreams.

Acting in the present where there's no future or past;

It's a glamorous movie scene and we're the star cast.

Let's get to work and load up on rocket fuel;

Never admit they're just trying to look cool.

We could wake up if we want to;

But why would we want to?

They haven't got a clue.

Hard to tell if I'm just being impatient;

Or if everyone else is just being complacent.

Sure it's true, they're all guilty of collusion;

But what the hell, it's all just an illusion.

Slaying all the demons is a job for just one;

The rest of 'em are too busy having all their fun.

Some of them know but turn a blind eye;

Looking for any excuse just to deny.

We could wake up if we want to;
